Barry Odom signed a contract extension on Friday, tacking an extra year onto the end of his current deal at UNLV.
UNLV announced the extension via press release, but did not disclose the terms.
Odom, 47, was hired last offseason and signed a five-year agreement paying him $1.75 million per year. His first season at the helm was an overwhelming success, as he led the Scarlet and Gray to a 9-3 regular season record and a first-place finishing the Mountain West standings.
UNLV made the MWC championship game for the first time in program history and qualified for a bowl for the first time since 2013.
Odom was named Mountain West Coach of the Year for 2023.
